Blind Spot

If I was to stand over here
And if you was to stand just over there
I would see you clear as daylight
And I too would be in your sight
We would see each others faces
And calmly exchanging gazes
We might see pain, joy, spite, or lies
Given by a look in our eyes
But if a dot were on my face
I wouldn’t feel a bit out of place
I would walk about unknowing
Until someone were to show me
A mirror would show me my body
But will the image be foggy?
Could I look into my own eyes
And see the pain, joy, spite, or lies?
